The Importance of Prophecy in Spiritually Mapping a Territory

Why should pray prophetically about an area before we do the spiritual mapping? When we learn how to pray prophetically we can see more clearly what the Lord is saying through the information we will obtain.  So we need to get the prophetic stirred up in us. The bible says in the I Cor. 14:24 (Amp.), that you interpret the divine purpose and plan of God when you prophesy.  So we are going to get those gifts stirred up in you.  Once we get that prophetic stirred up in you while spiritual mapping, we can then look in the spirit behind the scenes.  We can see what the natural eye cannot see.  And then we will talk about the watchman, how to guard, govern and protect the area after we clean it up in the spirit.  I believe the prophetic mantle is upon every Prayer Evangelism team sent out by God.  That mantle will cause us to prophesy and call those things that be not as though they were (Rom. 4:17).  The Prophet Isaiah begin to prophesy against the principalities and powers, “How are thou fallen O Lucifer son of the morning” (Isa. 14:12).  I did a research on prophecy and it covers so much.  There’s a lot of ground you can cover when you prophesy, when you’re speaking what thus saith the Lord.  We must allow the Holy Ghost to speak.  Jesus said, “in that hour you won't have to think about what you are going to speak because it is not you that is speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you” (Matt. 10:19-20).  When we become a seed we yield to the Holy Ghost, and when we yield to the Holy Ghost He knows the perfect prayer to pray.  He knows the exact words God wants to release at that time.

Prayer of impartation

Father in the name of Jesus, Lord God we thank you for your holy Word.  We thank you for the logos and the rhema Word Father.  And Lord God we just say right now, make us a seed.  Sow us into our communities. Anoint us and give us the grace to be a seed Father God, to lay down our lives for the sake of the gospel.  Lord God we thank you today that we are laborers. You are sending us out with power.  There’s power in being a seed, the power of the seed let it be released through our lives Father.  It’s the seed that bruises the head of the Devil.  We lay down our lives for the heavenly calling.  We lay down our lives for the vision Father.  We thank you for it today Lord God.

And we say Lord God that the life that we live in the flesh we live through faith in the Son of God, so then it is no longer us that live but Christ that lives in us and through us.  And we thank you Lord God that even now you’re sowing us, you’re sowing us into our communities, you’re sowing us into our families, and you’re sowing us into our jobs. Father we are seeds to be sown by the Son of Man, and we thank you for it today Lord God.  And we thank you Lord God that we hear your voice and the voice of a stranger we shall not follow.  And Father God we plead the blood of Jesus upon each person reading this book.  And Lord God we decree that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper and every lying tongue risen up against them in judgment shall be silenced and shown to be in the wrong.  Father we thank you Lord God for the anointing of the sent one resting upon us.

Give us ears to hear what your Spirit is saying Father.  We receive a Prophetic mantle today that we may obey you in Spirit and in Truth. Father, open up our ears that we may hear what your Spirit is saying unto us. And we thank you Lord God that you’re going to help us to discern every distraction that would try to come into our lives, to try to get us off that straight and narrow that you called us to walk.  For straight is the gate and narrow is the way.  But we thank you Lord God we have grace, grace, grace to walk that path and Your word is a lamp unto our feet a light unto our pathway.  In Jesus name, Amen.
